Requirements & Skills

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with strong clinical skills in maternal and fetal monitoring
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to provide compassionate care under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring women, including continuous fetal monitoring and assessment
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development

Compensation: Hourly rate of $72.00 - $85.00, with weekly pay through Quick2Hire.
