Shift and Schedule

Requirements and Skills

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
• Clinical experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care setting
• Strong knowledge of ICU protocols, patient monitoring, and critical care interventions
• Ability to perform and interpret complex assessments and clinical data
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation accuracy
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring safety and quality of care
• Monitor and assess patient condition continuously, implementing appropriate interventions
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to prescribed protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and professional development

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification highly desirable
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
