Requirements and Skills

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and General Care Unit (GCU) nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a team-oriented setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and computerized charting systems
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical and GCU units
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management, post-discharge care, and medication usage
• Ensure compliance with established nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license active in Nebraska
• Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in medical-surgical nursing or related acute care setting
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Professionalism, empathy, and dedication to patient-centered care

Pay Rate: $62.00 - $73.00 per hour
