Requirements and Skills

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing and/or General Care Unit (GCU) preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg GCU unit
• Monitor patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Document all nursing care and patient interactions in compliance with policies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or a similar nursing field
• Ability to adapt and respond to patient and unit needs quickly
• Commitment to continuous professional development and patient advocacy

Compensation

Hourly rate: $61.00 - $72.00
