Requirements & Skills

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
• Experience in inpatient dietetic services preferred
• Strong clinical and nutritional assessment skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in medical nutrition therapy and documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines, standards, and regulations

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for inpatient populations
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans to meet patient needs
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document nutritional assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards
• Stay current with advances in clinical nutrition and inpatient dietetic practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
• Registration as a Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Licensure as required by the state of Minnesota
• Previous experience in an inpatient clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Compensation: Hourly rate of $57.00 - $67.00
