We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our dynamic team. Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements & Skills

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience and proficiency in Labor & Delivery nursing
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills related to maternal and neonatal care
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care standards

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for expectant mothers during labor and delivery
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and respond to changes promptly
• Assist physicians and midwives during delivery and perform necessary clinical procedures
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in compliance with policies and regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional labor & delivery environment
• Respond to obstetric emergencies with preparedness and skill

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license active in the state of Nebraska
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience highly preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Preferred certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and/or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
